Was i that weird

Got me the very thing that i was contemplating about for so longgggg! Yay :-)

Gonna type a quick one because it's already 4 in the morning, i've gotta be up relatively early tomorrow (10am) & I sense an impending fever. Noooo...

Synced my email account to my computer and all the old emails which I never got round to deleting started flooding my inbox - all as unread emails, no less. Deleted about close to a thousand already. Ahaha.

Don't know if I'll regret deleting them, because I am having such a fun time discovering stuff i have totally forgotten about. An email from my dad in 2008, telling us what great team players we are :') he sent it to all the kids. Think my mom didn't have email then. That's something he doesn't say much anymore. So yes. Saved it. And another from Facebook,... from my dad too, when I refused to accept his friend request haha. He said, "I am your friend. Accept me la" hahaha gosh. Amazing how different we can feel about such minor things...I probably shrugged it off with a bit of annoyance. And tonight, reading it made me laugh! Saved it too.

All the countless emails from my mom then after.....she is an avid chain-mail forwarder. Toned down a little now because she has her iPhone games to occupy most of her leisure time haha. All the jokes & prayers and health-related emails. Saved a couple too.

And for the best part....i found the email that showed me the first point of communication between Tyfin & I! How awesome is that? Way back in July 2009. That really brought a smile to my face. :-) All because we came from the same primary school.

Facebook used to be a place where people just wrote about absolutely anything, uninhibitedly. Somewhere along the way we started feeling conscious....and so..people stopped writing. Now it has even come to a point where users are trying to rid of their facebook usage habits. Guess the people at Fb are highly paid for a reason. Its hard to predict human behaviour, especially when you are at the forefront of such up-to-date technology.

Okay im losing my train of thought now. Sleepy mind.
On a sidenote, i stumbled upon lots of emo poems in emails that have my livejournal posts embedded in em. The present me absolutely cannot identify with those writings. Was I that weird?
