You leave me awestruck
You leave me breathless
All of You Lord
All of You Lord

We scale mountains
We roam the seas
Searching to be in awe
Because you've set eternity in our hearts

Eccl 3:11

In his funeral sermon on Dr. Livingstone, Dean Stanley worked out a thought of a kindred kind. The earth, he said, is, broken up by seas and mountains, so that the nations seem destined to live apart; but in man’s breast there is a thirst for exploration and discovery, an unquenchable longing to know all that can be known of the world in which he lives; and as this desire takes shape in action, obstacles vanish, and all ends of the world are brought close together. The fact that the world is thus set in man’s heart, so that he is prepared to explore it, to understand it, to use and to enjoy it, is surely a proof of design in Nature and of the wisdom and goodness of the great Creator.

Dear Father,
Your word amazes me.. it is a bore to those who cannot fathom, myself included. Seek wisdom before opening it,.. and the same sentences look so different at the 10th read. At once I feel like I am caught in a magical realm, not unlike the wizarding world of Harry Potter.. for you are a God of miracles. And I believe in miracles, and magic, because I believe in You.

Mellowing out tonight

I'm in a pensive mood tonight.

It's early February, and I've just penned down my thoughts, happy lovey-dovey thoughts, to my Valentine.

We are in a happy place now, not unlike in the eye of the storm.
With him, I am connected. We are attuned to each other. We make each other laugh, we know what to expect of each other.

It was not an easy journey here. And I urge everyone in love, albeit not happily, to press on.

If he/she is the one our Father God has for you, pray and see, then press on.

It took many months and years of talking things out, understanding boundaries, resisting the urge to hurt each other, and finally trusting. Months and years. And if you happen to be in this stage of your relationship now...being happy must seem like being in a foreign planet altogether.

I don't want to ever lose this. But I can't foretell the future, so it's best to tread with caution. Together. Happily. Crossing fingers.

My job - I am now a certified realtor.
I am blessed to be able to have better hours, to be a blessing to home owners, tenants, business people. While revving up my sales engine, time has allowed me to rediscover myself. What will you do if you did have the time?

I am now back in the arms of the Lord. What took me so long to get here.. It's all in His good timing.

It's easy to get stuck in a rut. Work, friends, home, tv series, sleep. Rinse and repeat.

There are so many ruts - the tv series rut. The work rut. The youtube rut. The mobile app game rut. The housework rut?

Every once in a while, I get 'unstuck' and I'm like Wth, what have I been doing?!
It's funny. The TV series rut is scary. Probably a Singaporean millennial phenomenon now. 9 out of 10 friends are hooked on a series. If you aren't, my response would probably be, "What?! There are so many good ones"

God help us.

I kinda want to write a book in future. Hmmm. Because the keyboard feels good under my fingers. And so does a pen. Okay.
