Was lazying around while sweetheart got ready for our picnic!

A good mood post

I don't want to brag, but I think I have the awesomest iphone wallpaper ever..... (I wanted to tweet that but felt I tweeted too much today - my timeline is usually quiet, makes me feel so narcissistic.) Well...blogs are different, I didn't put a gun to your head and force you to scroll down your timeline to this, did I? ;p

I shan't be selfish...i will share! Afterall, God made the universe for all of us, it isn't for only me. :/

Lo and behold, how chio is this baby! I. am. amazed. It looks intriguing and yummy all at the same time. Awestruck. Sharpest photo ever taken of the cosmos. This picture is prolly published just a week ago. Hot off the press yo.

You could read all about it here. Why are you so amazing God?

Since they say stars are probably dead and gone, all burnt up by the time you see them.... are the stars in this photo gone too? (b/c the light from them takes millions of lightyears to travel to us, as they are so so so far away) Amazeballs lah.

I wish I could see this when I look up at Singapore's night skies. I wish.

Friends who know me will know that there are two colors I absolutely shun - orange and purps. All my life..... i don't like em both. Strangely, I am beginning to be fond of purps. I can attribute it to only three known reasons.

1. Lilac is quite pretty. I fell for it during the pastel-trend season. Purps is kinda close to Lilac.
2. Jesus wore royal purple robes in a particular little boy's vision of him. It's a nice color on Him, in my visualisation of Him.
3. The cosmos! (which really means Universe)

I have had no no no, not even one piece of purple clothing, ever. Stuff I bought that seemed navy under those boutique lights and damn, is really purps under white light will be exchanged or exiled. (ha ha)
Well, the thing is.. I just bought a purps dress off the net today. Crossing my fingers and hoping all goes well.

Me and my ever-changing tastes huh!

Stuff that really stuck out to me while I trawled about the net

Seems like a rarity these days, but the hopeful romantic in me believes the that guys that has an interest in only one special girl that they try to impress. Opposing the 'sow your wild oats' theory, is this age old romantic notion of floating on by in life till you meet someone that really gets you going (in all three areas - top middle bottom, lol head, heart and ..yeap. )

Some girls I know practise this though,... and its heartening to know that. Treasures, I say!!

How to know who is the love of your life?
You won’t know if someone’s the one until your last dying breath. When death is looking you in the eyes and you have that one last moment to reflect back on your life, you will then see who took that life journey with you. You will know without regret, that you wouldn’t change your history together for anything.
How true is this! Sad but true. Till then, love is but an act of faith. And when someone tells you that you are the love of his/her life, he is really, actually clueless. About the future that is. Well, take comfort in the fact that at that very moment, you are passionately loved!

So much love!

There are many many people I hold dear to my heart. You know how the company of some just lift your spirits and gives a spring to your step? Keepers, people!!!

So here's a post dedicated to one of my sweethearts (and also an excuse to put up photos in my iPhone folder that's sitting in there doing nothing but collecting virtual dust. )

A beautiful day in the month of July, spent with none other than my gorgeous girlfriend, Jod.

And guess what...this sweet pea actually has a super precious gift for me

She says its a unique piece that very few people carry, and it's one she has too! Thats why its perfect for us. How much sweeter can one be? :') to me, it looks like the pumpkin which transforms into cinderella's carriage! We have a fairy godmother pumpkin with us, Jod! ;) #wildimagination

I'd say Selfishgene is an alright place to go for brunch. Loved their glass roof part of the cafe. Food portion was filling (for a girl), tea was kinda bland, soy latte was nah (Starbucks ftw),... I'm definitely the kinda girl who prefers yummy filling hawker food. But for me, the draw of these cafes are in its settings. The handwritten chalkboard, fresh flowers on the tables, pretty utensils - makes you forget the crazies for a little while!

Read this twitter post, by cant-rmb-who, which really rang true to me and got stuck in my head ever since: girls go for brunch cuz they wanna act like tai tais. Boys go there and complain that they can cook the food themselves. LOL

Kisses!
